Come and join us and learn about the world of horticulture which will take place using our greenhouse, poly-tunnels and vegetable garden. There will be a room for indoor work also. Under the Plants and Produce projects you will learn how to grow vegetables and flowers, which can be taken home or sold to the public who visit the farm, progressing your customer service skills and practical learning.
Be part of our team working on different woodland project themes including wild birds, woodland animals, woodland wildlife and plants.
Our horticultural projects will be based around all elements of growing and looking after flowers from planting seeds and keeping growth diaries to pruning fully grown plants. You can learn which plants grow in different seasons and learn what makes them unique.
Within the Bugs and Beastie section we will gently introduce you to the amazing world of insects and inspire you to find out more about the living world around them.
Join us at the creative craft area where you can involve yourself in weaving, leaf sticking, flower pressing and other nature projects using resources from the Farm.
